Garden Visitor Tips
1. Check the Tulip Watch for daily updates. Mother Nature is the true conductor of the season, it’s up to her to decide when the flowers bloom. Our staff works 7 days a week during tulip season. Please be kind.
2. Respect the peaceful atmosphere. This is a place of prayer and reflection for 11 months of the year. Please be mindful of the quiet, peace, and serenity that others, including fellow visitors, are here to enjoy.
3. Leave the stroller in the car. For a more comfortable visit, we recommend using a baby carrier instead of a stroller, as the garden paths can be narrow.
4. Dress in layers. Weather can change quickly, so we suggest packing an umbrella, raincoat, gloves, and waterproof shoes to ensure you can enjoy your visit, rain or shine.
5. Lunch plans? If you have a lunch reservation at the Expanding Light Retreat, it’s served promptly at 12:30 PM, about 10 minutes away. If you happen to stop to say hello to the goats, donkeys, chickens, and ducks along the way, it may take around 30 minutes. If you forgot to make a reservation, no worries—stop by Master’s Market, Bakery & Deli bite!

Tulip Watch returns with tickets going on sale at the end of the month. However, please tune into our Tulip Watch as Mother Nature has her own schedule. We are so looking forward to welcoming old and new friends into our majestic Crystal Hermitage Gardens.
